Two more.

Thanks Friend, I’ll Call it my Curse.

One simple Negative.
I was going to throw it away, but I never did.
It’s a remnant of my history.
I’ve been lonely since I’ve had it,
So maybe that tells me you’re a witch.
I can’t say.
What’s passed is the past and what we don’t know is still what we don’t know.
So let’s fall in love.
All we do is close our eyes and see each other.
Don’t open them too soon, because you will see a man who has blinded himself with visions of you and himself.
Walking hand in hand, in a field,
Trees strewn about the dream.
Then sitting under a wooden fence,
Laughing about what ever they felt like.
About the sunset behind them, almost as warm as her smile.
He will open his eyes and catch you staring at him,
In the intermission of sight and daydreams.
I open my eyes again to find you staring but you don’t blink.
There is a hallway, a uniform, a bird, a staircase, You.

What Came Out of the Notebook

1. Blue.
Crocodiles couldn’t compliment my skill with a bo staff.
You make the call.
WHAT IS ORGANIC? Sad Ice Cream.
Omit “Eat for breakfast”. Definite End. Excerpts.
Incorporate self and pronouns. Expand on the star’s wife.
Try the narrative. “Absolutely” unnecessary.
Feeling of water on clothes. No “wasted time looking for love”.
Well, look at the poem.
Huh? Okay, see you later.
